Delete Your Account

Crochet Lab lets you delete your account and its associated data directly inside the app, at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open Crochet Lab.
- Tap the settings icon (the gear) in the top-right corner of the main screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read the warning, check the box to confirm you understand any unused balance will be lost, and type the word delete to confirm.
- Tap Delete my account. Your account and data are erased right away.
What gets deleted
- Your account — the anonymous account identifier and any linked Google sign-in are removed from our authentication system.
- Your balance and purchase ledger — your prepaid balance and transaction history are permanently erased from our servers.
- Your saved patterns — all patterns and preview images saved on the device are deleted from that device.
What is not affected
- Cloud backups you made yourself. If you enabled optional iCloud or Google Drive backup, those copies live in your own cloud account. Delete them from that service (iCloud or Google Drive) if you want them removed.
- Completed purchase records held by Google Play. Records of past transactions retained by Google or required for tax/accounting purposes are outside our control and are governed by Google's policies.
Prefer us to do it for you?
If you can't access the app, you can request account and data deletion by email. Write to baklabsllc@gmail.com from the email associated with your account (or describe your account so we can locate it), and we'll delete your account and server-side data. We aim to complete requests within 30 days.
Data retention
Once deleted, your balance, transaction ledger, and account identifier are removed and are not recoverable. We do not retain a backup of deleted account data beyond the time needed to complete the deletion.
